My junior year of college, I picked up the materials to declare for the NBA Draft. The application asked a bunch of legitimate questions – “what are strengths and weaknesses in your game?”, that sort of thing – which was enough to make me feel bad for whomever had to read my application. I chickened out, and regret it to this day. If nothing else, it would make a cooler search result than “college student needs help understanding Virginia Woolf.”
I don’t know about “the most” but there’s a country singer I love by the name of Jennifer Nettles. Her attitude in all things seems to be “I’m glad you’re here. Let’s have fun.” I try to apply that to how I facilitate workshops.
A guy who has been disproportionately blessed in every way…except, perhaps, thumb-wrestling ability.
